Katharina Von dollfs
*1983​ Soest, DE
Lives and works in Berlin. Von Dolffs studied Fine Art at the HfbK Hamburg with Jonathan Monk, Andreas Slominski and Jutta Koether. Her artistic approach is closely linked to the Arts and Crafts movement as well as the US conceptual art of the 1960s and 1970s. With her works, the artist questions the differentiation between high and popular culture as well as hierarchies within art itself. It provokes and puts the work of the transitions between art and non-art, as well as between reality and staging, in a delightful way to the test.
